PHILADELPHIA, September 8, 2008 – FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC) will increase list and off-list prices for all USP and Industrial grade sodium bicarbonate products. Effective October 1, 2008, or as contract terms permit, pricing for bulk and packaged sodium bicarbonate list pricing will increase by $30.00/ton ($1.50/cwt) and off-list pricing will increase by $60.00/ton ($3.00/cwt). As was stated with our previous announcements, all USP and Industrial grade sodium bicarbonate prices will remain on an FOB Westvaco, Wyo., basis. All other contract terms will remain unchanged.
