FMC Corporation names Leonardo Bastos as chief marketing officer

FMC Corporation today announced that Leonardo Bastos will be joining FMC as vice president and chief marketing officer, effective September 15, 2025.

Leo brings more than two decades of global experience in marketing, commercial strategy and business development across the agriculture and consumer sectors. He most recently served as senior vice president and global head of ecosystem services business at Bayer Crop Science, where he led a global team spanning five continents and built a new business from the ground up. He also spearheaded Bayer's first farmer-centric regenerative agriculture platform, which saw over 14 million acres signed up in under two years.

Prior to that, Leo held the role of vice president and head of marketing centers of excellence at Bayer, where he led go-to-market redesigns across the Americas, implemented a global pricing platform and launched a unified sales incentive program across 40 countries.
